I personally think Economics is a science first if a science is a subject that helps solve a problem, economics also solves problems through policies and some interventions… Maybe if one could say Economics is a service science other than a product science

I do not think that economics can be seen as a science. There are no one answer to most of the questions in economics because even the smallest thing can change your answer like your location or age. It is better to leave economics in its own category.

Although economics is more of policy than experiments it still remain a science.Remember science is best defined as the intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment.Economics thus meet all this requirements.And besides the is a Novel Prize for economic sciences to prove that is indeed a science.
