The Student Room

The Student Room is a forum which is aimed at GCSE, A-Level and University students to share academic and social knowledge. There is one main area focused entirely on economics which provides lots of different opinions and ideas, however, this is a chat based website so not all of the content may be economics based.

Interactive map of all university and college sites

This is an excellent interactive map that allows you to visualise the spread of higher education institutions across the UK and access the home pages of each institution. It is provided by the University of Wolverhampton.

Student Calculator

Provided by the educational charity Brightside, this site has a calculator and “cash course” to help students plan their finances. It is optimised for England, so won’t be accurate for other parts of the UK.
